The large “Auerhahn” (Grouse) was the first print acquired by this obscure Munich printmaker. The large sized bouquet created with many different blocks and one of the finest examples of “flower bouquets” in this collection the last: in June 2023. Finding a copy of the yellow throated bird (hornbill ?) would complete this collections of all known (2023) prints by Erna Ackermann.
