Bavier, Ursula Elwina (Chur Sw. 04-11-1918 - 23-01-2010 Gnosca Sw.)
Painter Illustrator, book cover and stamp designer, graphic artist and printmaker. Also known as Ursula Huber-Bavier. Worked in Basel and Bern, graphically know by a type font design (1967) and some very fine (“old style”) animal woodblock prints, occasionally offered as monotypes. One shows a group of gibbons (monkeys) and two colourful Lady Amherst’s pheasants (Chrysolophus amherstia) are known.
Member GSMBA and frequently exhibiting.
During construction the site is open to visitors, questions, feedback and suggestions.
