Place de l’Ecôle (militaire)

This Dutch artist is represented in the Paris section with this small edition etching found in an estate sale. Theo Beerendonk was well known for his love for and many works, drawings, etchings, water colours and painting of the female nude. As a respected artist became director of Amsterdam Museum Rembrandthuis in 1966. He was responsible for an exclusive edition of hand printed restrikes of Rembrandt original etching plates from the museums collection. He is also represented in the Nymphaeum collection and awaiting representation in “Other collections” with one of these Rembrandt copies.
