Paul Adrian Bouroux (1878 - 1967)
Little known twentieth century French painter, etcher and illustrator, Paul-Adrien Bouroux studied art in Paris, under Victor Focillon. He was a full member of the “Societé des artistes Francais” and began exhibiting his original etchings with this group in 1908. As an etcher known by his fine Paris, Seine, London, Reims scenery … Bouroux is also known to have created woodblock prints. Some of his etchings were published by the prestigious “Gazette des Beaux Arts”.
