Besides this “Gesellschaft  für vervielfältigende Kunst Wien” 1933 edition linoleum-block print “Waldinneres” (“in the wood”) just one other graphic example by this printmaker came to light. It was offered as “Farbradierung” (!) by a well known German auction house in 2016.

The VfVK print is (seems) also found as a signed edition. This is always a “tricky” feature for collectors. In perticular when no written evidence or proof of different and separate editions were delivered.

It is not uncommon to find signed prints of “slightly smaller dimensions” (the lower 1 cm. with the printed GfvK information removed) created without no other reason than to “increase” the market value increasing profit and deceiving the buyer-collector (beware !)
