A very nice small collection of this completely obscured artist not mentioned or remembered in any of the reference books. Not even in the famous “Der Neue Rump” treating exclusively Hamburg artist. She died tragically young, probably in the 1918-20 Flue pandemic.
No.1 shows a view over the Alster. Writing her short biography it became evident it was probably the view from her grandmothers villa.
Just one others etching by her came to my knowledge, making this collection possibly “important”. They showed up, still together after a century and it is my personal opinion Olga Fitzler deserves her orphaned legacy to stay together and again be enjoyed together.

Dear print lover, passing-by visitor and reader:
While this new gallery-museum site is under construction (being build-up, stocked and arranged) priority must be given to first add all the represented artists in the index with works from the collection and if possible with the examples from the archives.
During construction the site is open to visitors, questions, feedback and suggestions.
