Pierre Gatier (1878 - 1944)

PiG

“Paris”

Artist known for his fine aquatint etchings of Belle Epoque and mondain Paris but also working as an artist in the official service of the French Marine. This rare example was found in an old Dutch collection being dissolved and mistakenly attributed to a Dutch printmaker but identified by American collector friend Tom in Boston.
