Artist rediscovered in 2024 acquiring this large Amsterdam print. From a noble Baltic family with Russian branches and ancient Swedish roots. 40 years after her death almost nothing can be found in the archives nor in the Internet. Not even her direct family could be found although older generations seem all well researched. She obviously visited the Adriatic, London and Amsterdam according to examples of her work found far.

Although from “a next generation” of women printmakers in Germany with more modernist and illustrative approach in printmaking nice enough to represent her in this collection.

She is mentioned collaborating as an illustrator with typeface designer Rudolf Koch and in a book on Frankfurt historic tails and stories.
