Japanese prints

Ponts de Paris

Here the visitor finds a selection of original Japanese prints, found and acquired over the years searching for more specific and “core business” collection material: woodblock prints by German women artists. There’s no specific reason they were embraced other than they were simply considered to good to leave behind on my print hunting trips. Besides, it would feel disrespectful the ignore the great craftsmanship shown in these works. They can be enjoyed, studied and when an opportunity might show it self: they are available for friendly trade and swap aimed at to improve mutual collections.

Most prints are unidentified: by me.  It needs an expert to have closer look and tell me more.
