Perhaps one of the most individual (and also obscured) of all the women printmakers. Daughter of Frankfurt am Main painter Hermann Kruse (b. 1864)

Her intricate and extremely complex prints seem to be the reflections of dreams and ferry tales, they all are telling a story and are probably closely related to the works by Richard Dehmel and Max Dauthendey.

They have in common they all excel in detail and colours (number of blocks used). They do not appear often in auctions.
