Käthe Lander probably was a German artist. Any artist travelling to Africa is interesting enough to investigate, especially when it was a women. She is not to be found in any lexicon or literature. The drawing was framed in Enschede (in the Netherlands). Here, in 1932 a Katharina Lander gives birth to a stillborn baby girl. The father 27 year old engineer Peter Paul Born. Of both nothing further is known or recorded…..
