The last example is in this collection is a large lithographic print by Hedwig Matthiessen. The nymph with a veil (négligé ?) in a typical north German moor landscape (very much like Worpswede and Dachau) is a typical wish-list print. Until recently Hedwig Matthiessen was an obscured printmaker, while her signature was mentioned llegible to most German auctioneers (and privat sellers).
