I must be content to have found and been able to acquire at least 3 of the marvellous colour bird print by the most intimate of printmakers involved in the perfection of “Farbholzschnitt”, printmaking the “Japanese way”. Hélas, I’m not alone in my admiration and desires. 

To my knowledge a catalogue of his work was never undertaken. In the book: “Fascination Farbholzschnitt” (also the catalogue to the prints by Martha Cunz , Daniel Studer 2016) there’s a thumbnail reference to the 25 prints represented in his 1918 album “Der Garten am Wasser”. The prints were created in 1911.
