ORS
This artist and his work, mainly bookplates (ex-libris) was found accidentally roaming the offers on online auction platforms. And because one of them reminded me strongly of an example by perhaps the finest drawer in history: Aelbrecht Dürer. I cannot help suspect this artist who must be in his 80s, (2023) created this wonderful drawing/print as a tribute to Dürer. Trying to find out about this artist learned he was born in Kirchberg an der Jagst and lived and worked in Selb near Bayreuth on the Czech border.
Among the many bookplates offered I found this other small and original gem, of a swimming woman.
The etching is by Martin Erich Philipp

Dear print lover, passing-by visitor and reader:
While this new gallery-museum site is under construction (being build-up, stocked and arranged) priority must be given to first add all the represented artists in the index with works from the collection and if possible with the examples from the archives.
During construction the site is open to visitors, questions, feedback and suggestions.
