“Paris - Jardin de Luxembourg” 1961

Ruth Sernoff, from Jewish Russian descent was born in Philadelphia and immigrated to Israel in the 1970’s. In 1961 she stayed, probably studied, with others Philadelphia trained American artists Edna Andrade and Francis McCarthy in Paris, possibly in the school of André Lhote.
