“Just” a by-catch from the hunt for woodblock prints by a flying crow. This chromo-lithographic print “Venice - San Marco” published posthumously in 1909 by the Vienna “ Könichliche u. Kaiserliche Hof und Staatsdrückerei” after a painting by this Polish Monet. It was supplement to the “Graphischen Künste” Vol. 32. I love his bright colourful landscape paintings very much. This is as a close a mortal collector on a budget can get having one of the great artists represented with a quality work. Known from only a couple of graphic reproductions after one of his paintings. I would not mind, one day, the poplars flying in too.
Some examples to illustrate this modernist impressionist. The light and promising atmosphere of beginning of spring is caught perfectly in the garden scene.

Dear print lover, passing-by visitor and reader:
While this new gallery-museum site is under construction (being build-up, stocked and arranged) priority must be given to first add all the represented artists in the index with works from the collection and if possible with the examples from the archives.
During construction the site is open to visitors, questions, feedback and suggestions.
