Obscured Berlin painter, VdBK member, graphically known as Ex-libris or bookplate artist and book cover designer. She was represented in the major exhibitions “Die Frau im Haus und Beruf” (Berlin 1912) and the BugraDas Haus der Frau” (Leipzig 1914, 


Mathilde Rathenau-Nachmann (1845-1926) was the Jewish mother of industrialist politician and Germany’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, who was  assassinated in 1922: Walther Rathenau (1867-1922).


Also known to have created a bookplate for poster and bookplate artist and wife of  Prof. Emil Doepler (who had been both their teacher) Jewish Else Isenberg.
